Malcolm Bruce MP visits "Street Sports" at Balmedie

Gordon MP Malcolm Bruce last week went to Balmedie to speak to local residents with Cllr Paul Johnston and to support "Street Sports" - an initiative run by Grampian Police - outside Balmedie Leisure Centre.

Malcolm said "It is great that people are volunteering to organise activities for young people. This gives them an enjoyable activity compared with having "nothing to do". It has reduced vandalism and nuisance in the community"

"Both Paul and I are delighted to support this initiative".
