The British Heart Foundation (BHF) launches its new Red for Heart campaign as part of National Heart Month this February and Malcolm Bruce is wearing red to help fight the UK's biggest killer - heart and circulatory disease¹.
Mr Bruce said: "I am urging the people of Gordon to support National Heart Month by going Red for Heart."
"I decided to go Red for Heart because heart disease is one of Scotland's biggest killers. Unfortunately most of us will know someone who has experience of heart disease so National Heart Month serves as an important reminder not to take our coronary health for granted.
Jackie Skeel, Head of National Campaigns at the British Heart Foundation, said: "I want to thank Malcolm Bruce for going Red for Heart. Everyone can get involved with the campaign so please encourage your colleagues or friends to take part and help the BHF make a real difference."
By wearing red to work on Friday 13 February, for a suggested donation of £1, you will help the BHF save lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information.
