Polls open across Gordon for the general election

On the day of the general election, Malcolm Bruce the Liberal Democrat's candidate in Gordon, thanked people for their support so far and urged people not to leave it to others to vote.
Malcolm said:
"This is your chance to re-elect an MP who always puts local people and communities first and to make a real difference at a national level. Many people are saying that this election is different and they want to be a part of it. They want to send a message to Westminster that they want a change from the old two-party system.
"If you want to get our economy moving, cut your tax bill, back our armed forces, protect public services and reform the biased electoral system then the Liberal Democrats are the only party to offer that choice."
Remember polls open from 7am until 10pm across the constituency. if you are registered to vote you do not need your polling card, just turn up at your local polling station and give your name and address.
