Support Malcolm Bruce and Gordon Liberal Democrats

Malcom Bruce and Gordon Liberal Democrats work all year round across the constituency on issues that really matter to local people. Our campaigning relies on volunteers and donations. Because we're not backed by big business or trade unions, all our leaflets and campaigning materials are paid for and distributed through local donations and support.

If you like what we stand for, and would like to support us, then please join the thousands of others who want Government to be different, to be better, who want a chance for change with the Liberal Democrats.

There are three great ways to show your support for the work Malcolm and Gordon Liberal Democrats are doing

Make a donation

Donate image

Unlike the Conservatives who receive many large donations from big businesses and multi-millionaires, the Liberal Democrats mainly rely on our members and supporters for funding. With thousands of supporters across the country each making a small donation, we raise our funds to pay for leaflets, newspapers and campaigning.

Every extra pound we have to spend in Gordon will be spent on local campaigning.

Just £20 would pay for 1,000 leaflets to deliver to local homes. £80 would pay for enough leaflets for an entire ward. £240 would pay for all our web site and on line campaigning costs for a year. £500 would pay for a posted letter to 1,000 voters. Whatever amount you can afford, your donation will make a difference.

Whatever you can afford, your donation would be used to make a real difference to the campaign. Please support our campaign with a donation today - either by using the links below to make a donation on-line with your credit or debit card via Paypal, or by sending a cheque payable to "Gordon Liberal Democrats" to Gordon Liberal Democrats, 67 High Street, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, AB51 3QJ. Thank you!

Make sure you can vote

At each election, many people fully intend to vote but then end up busy on pollling day and don't get the chance to make their voice heard.

Make sure your vote and voice is heard by making sure you are on the register, and applying for a postal vote. Every elector is entitled to vote by post, and your ballot paper will be sent to you around 2 weeks before polling day, with clear instructions and a reply paid envelope. You can vote at home, and return your vote before polling day - otherwise it's so easy to forget!

If you are a registered elector in Gordon, you can register to vote by post using the link below, complete the form and return to the address supplied. If you are not sure if you are on the electoral register and entitled to vote, you can either use the link below to register, or call Aberdeenshire Council Electoral Registration helpline on 01224 664360.

If you are a resident of the Gordon constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.

    • If you agree, The Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Bruce MP, the Liberal Democrats, and their elected representatives may use the information you provide to contact you about issues you may find of interest. Some of the contacts may be automated. You can opt out of these contacts at any time by contacting us.
