Sign the petition for a new health centre in Ellon

Ellon's growing population has led to its Health Centre bursting at the seams. Temporary solutions such as portacabins can no longer disguise the fact that the current practice is no longer fit for purpose.

Along with Alison McInnes MSP, I have been campaigning for a new Health Centre in Ellon that is fit for the 21st Century. Following a series of meetings with Health Board chiefs, NHS Grampian has acknowledged that there is a problem to be addressed, however, no funding has yet been identified for this purpose. NHS Grampian have said that this funding could be included in its Capital Plan from 2014 onwards.

Ellon is missing out on additional services as there is no space within the current Health Centre.

I would encourage everyone to sign this petition which will give the people of Ellon the chance to have their voices heard.
